About the Miss Vineland & Miss Liberty Pageants |
The Miss Vineland Pageant has been a part of Vineland's history since the early 1900's and has evolved into the scholarship program it is today. In January of 2005, the Miss Vineland Scholarship Foundation expanded its pageant program to include the Miss Liberty Pageant. As of 2006, $12,650.00 in educational scholarships and awards have been presented and over $4,500.00 in gifts to its contestants.
The Miss Vineland Scholarship Foundation, Inc. was established in September 2002 as a non-profit organization and will continue to carry on the tradition of awarding educational scholarships to young women. This program is a preliminary to the Miss America Pageant which is one of the nation's leading achievement programs and world's largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women. Last year, the Miss America Organization and its state and local organizations made available more than $45 million in cash and scholarship assistance.
The goal of this foundation is to assist young women in their pursuit of educational, professional, and personal goals through scholarship awards for educational expenses.
The generous donations from local businesses, organizations, and individuals has attributed to the huge success of this program.Through continued support this foundations goal to award educational scholarships will continue and increase every year.Anyone who wishes to help to receive information on becoming a scholarship sponsor or supporter of this program may do so by contacting us at Info@MissVineland.org.
